i saw a boy of tattered clothes,
running from this car
to that car. he chased them
despite the heat of the sun.
he wore a cap reversed.
he wore a torn slippers
for he ran to this car
to that car. and he held
a bottled of mineral water
half-full of coins and
half-empty of promise
that he's going to be paid.
